I wrote my first What I’m Into post last month and it seems ya’ll liked it, so I’m going to try it again.
Here are some things I’m currently into.
I’m always into birthdays, but a special woman in my life celebrated her 90th birthday in February.
Our family celebrated my husband’s Granny at a roaring ’20s party. It was so much fun and the guest of honor did not hate being in the spotlight all night!
This one might seem a bit odd, but it’s windy in Oklahoma and the weather is going from cold to spring-like every other day. All of the change is drying out my skin. Luckily I fell in love with this Archipelago coconut body lotion. It’s always on my bathroom counter. Goodbye dry skin, hello coconut!
My teen daughter plays basketball. School ball season is winding down (or up, since we’re working our way to state), and competitive ball is about to get started. Between school ball practices and games, personal training and basketball on television, it’s all basketball, all the time around our place. It’s busy, but we love it.
The ONE Thing
In the book, Keller encourages readers to find the ONE thing that, by doing it, everything else becomes easier or unnecessary. The goal is to help readers focus in on tasks that truly move them toward their goals and eliminate everything else.
Of course, first you have to identify your ONE thing, which sent me into a bit of a tailspin, but Keller offers advice for doing that too.
I encourage everyone who never feels like they’re getting enough done or doing what’s important to them… anyone who doesn’t feel as successful as they could/should be to read The One Thing.
You can read more about my favorite books of February here.
Ok, I’m always into puppies. I even have a puppy Pinterest board to look at when I get sad. Yes, I have a puppy problem.
We already had two wonderful dogs, but we couldn’t resist when our teen son asked for a puppy of his own for his birthday.
After multiple adoption event fails, we adopted sweet little Cash. I am SO into him… puppy breath, potty training, bouncy run, middle-of-the-night potty outings, and all.
Full disclosure: I am a Rodan + Fields consultant. I want to make that clear up front before I tell you about our amazing product, Lash Boost.
Lash Boost, our newest product, is incredible. I never realized how sparse, short and light my eyelashes had become until I took my “before” picture and started using Lash Boost. Now I have the silly first world problem of getting mascara on my eyelids. My lashes are long, lush and natural. You seriously have to try it!
I wrote in January about my love for Sharpies and basically all other office supplies. The love didn’t go away. In fact, I love Staples even more after an excellent social media-based customer service experience. You can read all about that here.
I would be remiss not to mention being so into Bon Jovi.
I mean, I’ve always had a huge crush on Jon Bon Jovi, but I’ve been walking around singing their songs pretty much non-stop since my brother took me to their concert earlier this month. So fabulous!
I HOPE YOU’VE HAD A FABULOUS MONTH! WHAT ARE YOU INTO RIGHT NOW?
