Journalists in today’s job market need to display their multimedia reporting abilities through their resume and clips. Static paper is not the only or the best way to do this.
Those entering the job market should have a paper resume and a digital portfolio.

To help with the site-building process, here is a bare-bones explanation of how to build a site on WordPress. Here is another such explanation with examples and a step-by-step blog guide. You also could build your site in Blogger, but I do recommend that you have your own domain name without the “wordpress” or “blogspot” extension. It looks much more professional.
