There are two things you must do to be a writer—read a lot and write a lot.
Author Stephen King offered this advice in his book, On Writing. I couldn’t have written it better myself.
The advice holds true if you want to be a blogger. It also is important that you learn something about the craft of blogging. Luckily, there are many wonderful blogs to help you do that. Here are four blogs bloggers must read. Also, I dare you to say that title three times fast.
1. ProBlogger
I’m pretty sure it’s common knowledge that Darren Rowse is the resource on successful blogging. His site offers blog advice including that related to design, content, monetization, and visuals. The site also offers resources like a blogger job board and eBooks.
2. Copyblogger
Brian Clark and his team blog about everything you need to know about creating content including copywriting, keyword search and online marketing.
3. We Blog Better
A group of writers for this site offer tips about blogging including those regarding legal concerns, photo usage, marketing, and social media.
4. For Bloggers By Bloggers
This site is written by bloggers with the goal of helping your blog be the best it can be. Post topics include finding ideas, determining your niche and identifying your target audience. I find the blog’s content to be simple and easy to apply to your own site.
These are four of my favorite blogs about blogging, but I’m sure there are many more that also are wonderful.

I hadn’t heard of a couple of these – I’ll check them out. But I think you missed one of the best sites – Boost Blog Traffic. Jon Morrow is not only one of the best bloggers around, he’s also incredibly generous with his knowlege.
Now I’m off to the second two sites you mentioned!

pro_editor Thank you for the tip. I’m going to check out Jon’s blog. I’m always looking for things to add to my RSS Feed reading. I’m pretty sure I’m not reading that one. I appreciate you taking the time to read and comment.
